Chris Hu received his B.A. in English and political science from Brown University. He then attended law school at Stanford University, where he was President of the Stanford Law Review and awarded a prize for his work on Stanford’s U.S. Supreme Court Litigation Clinic. In 2013-2014, Chris served as law clerk to 9th Circuit Judge Kim Wardlaw. From there, he went on to clerk for California Supreme Court Justice Goodwin Liu, in 2014-2015. From 2015 to 2018, Chris worked as a litigation associate with Rosen, Bien, Galvan, & Grunfeld, LLP in San Francisco, handling complex civil cases in both trial and appellate courts, state and federal.
